Long-form Project Note
A closer look at WeightPilot
An Android app for organizing GLP-1-related records, measurements, symptoms and nutrition planning.
This note reflects a first-time user perspective.
Keep the records together
WeightPilot's Google Play description focuses on the details someone might otherwise spread across notes and reminders: injection dates and sites, symptoms, measurements and progress photos. The appeal is organizational. Keeping those records in one place could make them easier to find, but the listing alone does not establish how well that works in everyday use.
Food planning has a paid layer
The listing describes recipes, barcode nutrition lookup, meal plans and shopping lists. AI Coach, AI Chef and meal planning are included in its Premium feature list, while some features are free. The store confirms in-app purchases, but this first look did not open a subscription screen or establish the exact free limits.
Separate tracking from treatment decisions
The maker explicitly says the app does not provide medical advice and directs medication, dose and side-effect questions to a healthcare professional. Nothing in this note establishes the accuracy of AI-generated guidance or a health benefit from using the app.
Only the public Google Play listing was inspected; the app was not installed and no health information was entered. Its data-safety section is developer supplied and lists personal-information collection and a deletion-request option. Someone considering the app should read those disclosures in the context of the records they intend to store.
