Project Note

A closer look at Overit

Overit.sk is a Slovak company register built from public data. It has profiles for about 389,000 Slovak companies with registration details and financial history, plus company checks, change monitoring and an API. There is a free tier and paid plans from 12.90 euros a month.

What it does

Overit.sk gathers Slovak public company data into one searchable site. Each company profile combines registration details from the register of legal entities, financial statements from the register of financial statements, and VAT status from the EU's VIES service. The site says it holds about 389,000 company profiles and almost 3 million processed financial statements, so most profiles show revenue history over several years rather than a single snapshot.

On top of the profiles sit three tools. A company check confirms in seconds that a business exists, is active and matches the official record. Radar monitors companies you pick and flags changes. The API exposes profiles, search, change events and VAT checks for developers. There are also rankings, browsing by city or industry, and a page of shared addresses.

Pricing and who runs it

The free plan gives 10 company lookups a month and monitoring for 3 companies. Start costs 12.90 euros a month for 100 lookups and 25 monitored companies. Business costs 49 euros for 2,500 lookups, 500 monitored companies and CSV export. API access costs 119 euros for 100,000 requests. Plans are billed monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time.

The seller is Verde Holding Kft., a Hungarian company, and the footer links to sister registers in about 30 other countries, including Felho.hu for Hungary. The privacy policy names Stripe for payments, Resend for email and Google Analytics for anonymous traffic counts. It says the company data comes from public registers and is used under public-sector reuse terms.

What to keep in mind

Overit is also a register of people. An index lists about 1.2 million names of directors, board members and partners, ranked by how many companies they are linked to. The site notes that the register gives no identifier for people, so one name can belong to several individuals, and it splits them by town. The privacy policy covers account holders only and does not explain how it handles these named individuals or how they can ask for corrections. Treat a person match as a lead to confirm in the official register. For checking a company before you sign with it, Overit is quick and the pricing is easy to understand.
