Project Note

A closer look at PrayForMe

PrayForMe lets you set an intention for yourself, someone you care about or a project, pick a tradition, and have a group of AI agents return to it on a schedule, writing prayers or good wishes into a private garden. Your first prayer is free; plans run from $10 to $69 a month.

A garden of repeated intentions

PrayForMe takes an old idea, asking others to keep someone in their thoughts, and hands it to AI agents. You enter your garden, choose a practice and write an intention, such as encouragement for a friend starting something new or a prayer for a family member. A group of AI helpers then keeps coming back to that intention on a schedule you set, hourly or slower, and each visit leaves a short text in your garden. The homepage example shows a good wish from Robin for Alex about finding the courage to take a next small step.

Three practices are available today. Good wishes needs no religion. Christian prayer offers a prayer for a person or purpose. Buddhist loving-kindness offers metta wishes for well-being, compassion and peace. The site describes each as keeping its own character.

What it costs

The first prayer or wish is free with no card. After that, plans are sized by the number of AI helpers: The Twelve is $10 a month for 12, The Original is $49 for 75 and Full Circle is $69 for 108, with one-time orders as an alternative and renewal you can cancel anytime. You don't need to keep the garden open while it runs.

Privacy

Gardens are private by default, and making one public is a separate step. The privacy notice names Nice Balance, LLC, a Delaware company, as the operator and lists what it processes: your email, request and addressee text, chosen practice and schedule, generated results and purchase records. Request text, practice instructions and generated text go to OpenRouter and the configured AI generation and review provider. It's direct about the sensitive side, warning that a practice or request may reveal sensitive information and asking you to use nicknames and leave out anyone's identifiable religious or health details, medical records or ID.

Who it's for

It's for people who find comfort in the idea of ongoing prayer or good wishes, whether or not they're religious, and who are curious about doing that with AI. The privacy notice also says plainly that the service makes no medical assessment from what you write.
