Receptek.hu is a recipe site for Hungarian home cooking. On 6 November 2026 it held 267 recipes in 11 categories, covering the classics from goulash to somlói galuska alongside everyday dishes. Each recipe gives exact ingredients, numbered steps, the time it takes, a difficulty level and a reader rating. The categories follow how Hungarians cook: soups, mains, sides like nokedli, főzelék vegetable stews such as squash or lentil, cakes and tortes, desserts, salads, breakfasts, breads and pastries, starters and drinks.

Search works by recipe name or by ingredient, which helps when you are trying to use up what is in the fridge. There are collections, an author list, a top list, a magazine and an RSS feed, and dietary pages for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and sugar-free recipes.

Browsing is open to everyone. A free account adds favourites, ratings, a feed, messages and the option to submit your own recipe with a photo, which the site says takes a few minutes. An iOS app offers the same account features.

The site comes from Verde Holding Kft., which also runs the Idopontok.hu booking tool and the Bizonylat.hu invoicing app. Its privacy notice lists the processors, including Cloudflare for hosting, Fly.io for the account database, Resend for email and Google for analytics, which only runs with your consent; it says cookies are never used for advertising. You can delete your account yourself with one click, which also removes your submitted recipes, ratings and favourites. Everything, including the recipes, is in Hungarian.
