A closer look at Redexa Social

A Windows app for reviewing YouTube analytics, ranking content and diagnosing missing data, with paid history and CSV export.

Start with one YouTube channel

Redexa Social gives Windows users a place to compare recent uploads and decide what to try next. Its setup guide suggests comparing two similar videos, noting a difference and choosing one change for the next upload. That is a useful role for an analytics app: supporting a testable decision without treating a view count as proof of what caused it. ProjectRadar read the public pages without installing the app or connecting a channel.

The free plan covers one account, an overview, content ranking, diagnostics and locally calculated insights. Diagnostics can help distinguish missing data from poor performance. Stored history, trend charts, posting-window charts and CSV export require Pro or Studio. Pro supports three connected accounts; Studio supports ten. The paid plans also include comparisons with up to three chosen public channels.

Platform support has limits

YouTube is the main entry point. Instagram and TikTok require the user to supply their own developer app, which makes them a more involved setup. X only reports credential status; the current product does not offer X analytics. There is no Mac, Linux, mobile or web build.

Redexa complements native reporting rather than replacing every platform report. It requests read-only access and has no publishing or scheduling features. A creator who mainly needs YouTube statistics may find the free overview enough; exporting a recurring report or keeping trends is the clearer reason to consider a paid plan.

What local-first means here

The privacy policy says account tokens, cached statistics and content history are stored on the computer, with analytics calculated there. Protecting the Windows account and its backups still matters. Platform authorization uses online services, and Instagram and TikTok token exchanges pass through a Redexa service. Billing and licence records are also handled remotely.

Deleting the app is not confirmation that all local or remote records are gone. The policy points users to separate account revocation and deletion steps. These are the project's published data-handling descriptions, not findings from a security audit.
