A closer look at TianTian HSK
Beginner Mandarin vocabulary and practice with Chinese characters, pinyin, and English and Portuguese translations.
One word, several ways to recognize it
TianTian HSK's public word list puts 水 beside shuǐ, water and água. That layout gives an English- or Portuguese-speaking beginner a direct connection between the character, pronunciation spelling and meaning. Each entry also has an audio control, and the list can be filtered by word type or study status.
Practice beyond the word list
The practice menu offers sentence-building and listening activities. It also lists grammar lessons for constructions such as 是 sentences and 吗 questions, with the first three lessons marked free. These are useful next steps for someone moving from recognizing individual words to arranging a short sentence. The lesson content and pronunciation quality have not been assessed here.
A small free deck, a larger paid one
On October 7, 2026, the app advertised 20 free words from its 150-word HSK 1 set. The visible list included an additional item explicitly marked as a bonus. Premium advertised the full deck, all 18 grammar lessons, reading texts and offline audio and image downloads.
The offer has monthly, yearly and one-time options. Its lifetime wording is qualified as access while the product exists, and HSK 2 through 6 decks are promised as they launch. Those future decks should not be treated as available study material. The visible screens establish the app's current scope, not exam readiness or learning results.
