AINav is a directory for finding AI tools by job. You browse categories like AI image generation, AI video generation, coding and website builders, or AI API development, and each tool has its own page. The Replicate page, for example, has a one-line introduction, the date it was added, a pricing label (Freemium), a link to the official site and tabs for overview, pricing, reviews and alternatives.

Next to the listings there's a guides section. These are checklists for before you buy, such as what to test in an AI agent or automation platform before committing, or what to check in a translation tool before paying for a year.

This affects how much weight to give a page. Makers send a tool name and URL and pay $9.90 once, with no renewal fee. AINav then writes the listing from the tool's public website using AI-assisted editing and reviews it before publishing, within 24 hours according to the submit page. Its About page says features and prices change and that AI-assisted content may contain errors, and every listing links to official sources so you can check. Community reviews are moderated before they appear, though the Replicate page, for one, doesn't have any yet.

Treat a listing as a starting summary, and confirm prices on the tool's own site before you sign up for anything.

You can browse without an account, and the submit page says makers don't need one to list a tool either. The privacy policy names Wang Qian as the operator and lists the data it handles: account email and display name, submitted URLs and listing drafts, reviews, order details, and request logs. Waffo processes payments, and a posted review shows the reviewer's display name publicly.
