If you deal with Italian bureaucracy or e-invoicing, you'll eventually receive a .p7m file. It's a digitally signed envelope (CAdES) around a PDF or an XML invoice, and an ordinary PDF reader won't open it directly. AprireP7M is built for that moment. You drag the file onto the page and within a few seconds it shows the document inside, the signer's details and the state of the signature. There's nothing to install and no account.

The site is careful to explain that opening a .p7m means reading the signed envelope, not renaming the file, and it keeps reading and converting as separate steps. It handles one file at a time, up to 50 MB, including XML.P7M electronic invoices.

For signed documents, this is the detail that matters. The privacy page says the file is processed in your browser, is never uploaded to the site's servers or sent to anyone else, and that no file name, content or fingerprint is stored. It even suggests checking for yourself by opening the browser's developer tools, watching the Network panel and dragging in a file. The same page names the person responsible for the data, Jinhui Zhang, an individual operator based in Fuzhou, China.

The terms add two useful limits. The site doesn't create signatures, issue timestamps or store documents, and its technical checks aren't a qualified or legal validation of the signature.

Opening a file, previewing it and running the checks are free with no registration. Exporting the document to PDF is paid, at €4.49 for a single document or €9.99 for a year of unlimited exports, and the terms say the same prices appear in the export window before you pay. The site is in Italian only, which fits its audience.
