Project Note

A closer look at Minecraft Thumbnail Maker

AI thumbnail generator for Minecraft YouTube videos, with Minecraft-style title text and reference image uploads.

What it does

Minecraft Thumbnail Maker does one job. You write the video idea, like "I found a hidden diamond cave under my starter base," and it generates a 16:9 thumbnail concept in a blocky Minecraft style. Quick-start prompts cover common formats such as SMP betrayals, 100 Days survival runs, 1 HP PvP clutches, mega builds and cave horror. You can choose no text, a short label or a headline, and set the text style to pixel block, bold high-contrast, comic or minimal. Output is 1K by default, with 2K and 4K available.

The reference upload matters most for channels with a recognizable character. You can upload your custom skin, a pose, a build screenshot or an older thumbnail, then describe in the prompt how to use it. The site's own guide sticks to sensible thumbnail advice: one large foreground subject, short title text like "100 DAYS," and checking that the image reads at phone size.

Credits and payment

Generation runs on credits tied to an account. The terms say new users get 20 trial credits and each thumbnail request costs 10, so the trial covers two images. Paid credits and subscriptions go through PayPal, and the site doesn't list prices outside checkout. Completed purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, though credits may be refunded automatically if a request fails before generation starts.

Your images and the Minecraft name

The privacy policy, dated July 19, 2026, says prompts, options and reference images may be sent to third-party AI infrastructure, and that account data is kept in a Supabase Postgres database. It doesn't name the AI provider or the model. The terms say the tool isn't affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft or YouTube and uses "Minecraft" only to describe the style. They also ask you not to include official logos or trademarks without permission, which is worth remembering before you upload a thumbnail with someone else's branding. The service isn't meant for children under 13.
