Project Note

A closer look at MinuteHaul

MinuteHaul pulls your whole meeting archive out of tl;dv or Fireflies through their official APIs and packages it as one ZIP: a Markdown file per meeting, an index spreadsheet and a combined text file for AI tools. It runs in your browser, costs $19 once, and the first 10 meetings are free.

Getting your meetings out

Meeting recorders make it easy to collect transcripts and hard to take them with you. The site points out that tl;dv doesn't support bulk transcript exports and that Fireflies keeps downloads to paid plans and asks for a manual request for a full archive. MinuteHaul does the export in one pass. You paste an API key from your tl;dv or Fireflies account, it fetches every meeting through the official API, and you get a single ZIP.

The ZIP is organized for reuse. There's one Markdown file per meeting, an index.csv listing every meeting with its date, duration, organizer and participants, a combined all-transcripts file meant for loading into ChatGPT, Claude or NotebookLM, and an optional JSONL file for scripts. The site also tracks a tl;dv deadline: free-plan recordings older than three months are deleted in monthly batches, so the page flags the date of the next one.

Cost and options

You can try it free on 10 meetings with no signup. Exporting everything costs $19 once. For tl;dv it works with Pro, Business and Enterprise plans, and Fireflies support, which works on any plan, is labeled beta. Developers can use a free command-line exporter released under the MIT license instead.

Where the data goes

The export runs in your browser, so meeting content goes from the provider's API to your computer. The privacy page says MinuteHaul doesn't receive, store or log transcripts, keeps your API key in browser memory for the session only, and uses Stripe for payment and cookieless analytics for page views and export starts. It says a pass-through proxy may be used for technical reasons but stores nothing. The site also states it isn't affiliated with tl;dv. It suits anyone cancelling a meeting recorder, switching tools or keeping an offline copy of their own meeting history.
