QuoteBoundary
QuoteBoundary is a browser-based pricing and scope toolkit for freelancers, consultants, and small studios. It turns project effort, uncertainty, revisions, and client factors into three planning prices, then helps frame the deliverables, exclusions, payment terms, and change-request rule around the quote.

About QuoteBoundary
Product description
What the project says it is
QuoteBoundary is a free, browser-first toolkit for building a freelance project estimate and the scope boundary that goes with it. The public workflow combines rate, hours, complexity, revisions, stakeholders, uncertainty, timing, and payment confidence, then shows minimum, recommended, and protected price options. A second step turns the selected price into client-ready boundary language covering deliverables, exclusions, timeline, revisions, changes, and payment.
ProjectRadar context
Why it caught our eye
Pairing the estimate with its assumptions is the strongest part of the workflow. QuoteBoundary keeps price, revisions, exclusions, and change rules visible together, which makes the boundary easier to reason about before work starts.
This is a light context note, not a grade, hands-on evaluation, certification, or promise of traction.
What it does
The main page opens straight into a quote builder, with no account required on the public flow. Quick-start project types seed the inputs, while the live quote panel breaks the selected figure into core effort, complexity and collaboration, and a risk and operating buffer. The scope builder then produces a summary that can be copied, printed, or saved as a PDF. Linked public tools cover rate-floor calculation, proposal drafting, scope-change responses, and pricing guidance. The core toolkit is presented as free, with an optional $9 one-time Pro Templates add-on.
Who it is for
Freelancers, consultants, and small studios that already know roughly what a project involves but want a more deliberate way to price uncertainty and state the boundary before work starts. It is especially relevant for fixed-price client work where revisions, stakeholder count, rush timing, payment risk, and change requests can quietly erode margin. Project Radar reviewed the public homepage and demo only; it did not enter real client details, buy the add-on, print or save a quote, or independently verify the calculations or the site's privacy and analytics statements.
Closing context
Pairing the estimate with its assumptions is the strongest part of the workflow. QuoteBoundary keeps price, revisions, exclusions, and change rules visible together, which makes the boundary easier to reason about before work starts.
