Project Note

A closer look at ClockZone

ClockZone offers free browser time tools: countdowns, timers, a stopwatch, alarms, world clocks, holiday lists and date calculators.

A drawer of time tools

ClockZone is the kind of site you keep in a bookmark bar. It has a countdown, a timer, a stopwatch that records laps, an alarm that supports several alarms and custom ringtones, a world clock, a city time lookup, a time-difference page, a daylight saving page and a date calculator that handles workdays and date arithmetic. They all run in the browser and none of them asks you to sign up.

The holiday list

The home page opens with the current time in your timezone and a holiday list. The site says it picks the default country from the IP address you're visiting from, and you can change the country, add a state or province, and choose a year. For the United States in 2026 it lists 23 dates, each with a countdown, and the whole list can be downloaded as a calendar.

The list mixes public holidays with observances like Valentine's Day and Tax Day, so check the type column if you only want days off.

Who it suits

If you want a quick kitchen timer, a stopwatch for a workout or the time in another city before a call, ClockZone covers it in one place. The footer links a privacy policy and terms of service.
