Project Note

A closer look at quote.video

A free quote video maker with more than 410 animated templates, a full layer editor, music and optional voiceover, exporting MP4 or images for every social size. Your files stay on your device.

What it does

quote.video starts with the words. You type a quote, or search a library of tens of thousands of public-domain quotes with their authors and sources, and the template gallery immediately shows your text moving in each design. There are more than 410 templates across 26 styles, including Minimal, Serif classic, Neon, Film grain, Faith, Retro and Brutalist, plus a quote of the day and a set of public-domain Bible verses on themes like love, strength and anxiety.

A template is only a starting point. The editor lets you move, resize and rotate every line, change its font, colour, outline, shadow and glow, highlight chosen words, and add titles, handles, emoji, shapes and your logo. Each layer gets its own entrance, loop and exit animation, and you can add more scenes. Every template passes an automatic legibility check on the text, according to the About page.

Sound and export

You can add music with fades and volume control, or have the quote read aloud by a voiceover that the on-screen words follow. Export sizes cover TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Stories, feeds, Pinterest and YouTube, as an MP4 or a PNG or JPG still, in one size or several at once. The live preview, thumbnails and export use the same rendering engine, so the file matches what you approved.

Privacy

Text, pictures, music and projects stay in your browser and aren't uploaded, according to the privacy page, updated November 6, 2026. The one exception is a voiceover. The words to be spoken go to quote.video's server and on to DeepInfra, a US company that runs the Kokoro speech model, and DeepInfra sees the site's server address rather than yours. There's no watermark, account, charge or advertising, and the only tracking is visit statistics you can decline in Cookie settings.
