Project Note

A closer look at RealtyCrawl

A credit-based real estate data API that wraps collection from 206 researched listing sources behind one schema, with REST and MCP access. It starts with 500 free credits, then plans from $15 a month.

What it does

For a rental alert or a price tracker, the tedious part is often keeping a scraper alive for each listing site and turning their different formats into one table. RealtyCrawl sells that layer as an API. You call one endpoint, name the source, and get back listings and property records in a unified schema that normalizes prices, units and property details across portals.

The catalog covers 206 researched sources, from Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com and Trulia to rental sites like Apartments.com, Zumper and HotPads, and international portals such as Rightmove and Idealista. Availability varies, and the site is upfront about it. A capabilities endpoint reports whether a given source and operation are working before you spend anything, and each operation's cost is shown in the docs. Code samples come in Python, TypeScript and cURL, and an MCP server lets an AI agent discover operations and costs before making requests.

Pricing

New accounts get 500 signup credits that don't expire. Monthly plans are Starter at $15 for 2,500 credits, Growth at $49 for 20,000 and Pro at $299 for 150,000, with custom Enterprise terms. A crawl of a source costs 50 credits when it succeeds, and reading results already stored costs 1. Monthly credits don't roll over, and failed provider calls are refunded.

Things to weigh

RealtyCrawl collects from third-party listing sites, and automated collection can conflict with those platforms' own terms of use, so check the rules for each source you plan to rely on. The service also describes itself as being in preview. Its privacy policy, updated October 14, 2026, covers account, API and payment records and says customer data isn't sold, but neither it nor the terms name the company that runs the service.
