Project Note

A closer look at TruckerFetch

A U.S. carrier research tool built on FMCSA records. Filter carriers by state, operating classification and fleet size, see source dates and when each carrier first appeared, and export lists to CSV. Plans start at $49 a month.

What it does

A dispatcher, a factoring team and an insurance producer may all research the same trucking company for different reasons, as TruckerFetch's About page puts it. TruckerFetch keeps that research in one workspace. Every profile is anchored to the carrier's USDOT number and shows its legal name and DBA, the business email and phone it reported where available, its physical address, power units and drivers, operating classification, authority observations and insurance filing evidence.

The detail that stands out is dating. Each fact shows when its source was updated and when TruckerFetch first observed it, and the site explains what each date means. Its product principles argue against treating a shared phone number or a similar company name as proof that two records are the same business. You can filter by state, operating classification and reported fleet size, save lists and searches, keep watchlists and export CSV. A daily edition lists carriers TruckerFetch observed for the first time after its initial baseline, which the site notes may still be long-established businesses.

Plans

A public preview shows three fictional example records and needs no account, so you can see the record format first. Full search needs a paid plan. Starter costs $49 a month for dashboard research and CSV exports, and Pro costs $99 a month and adds a REST API and a hosted MCP server for AI assistants. Sign-in uses a six-digit email code.

Contact data and privacy

The carrier records come from public FMCSA filings, and the privacy notice, updated November 5, 2026, is direct about what that means. A reported business email or phone can identify an individual, and appearing in a filing doesn't mean that person has consented to marketing. TruckerFetch says it doesn't add carrier addresses to its own subscriber email, and it offers a correction and removal form for carriers. Service providers named in the notice include Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Stripe, Railway and Cloudflare. The site doesn't name the company behind it.
